Advanced Dermal Filler Treatments in London
Dermal fillers offer a transformative approach to facial rejuvenation, enhancing your natural beauty for a refreshed and youthful appearance.
Whether you are looking to enhance volume in thin lips, subtly refine your profile with non-surgical rhinoplasty, or achieve a more lifted look with midface and cheek filler, I provide personalised treatment plans designed around your needs.
At my Marylebone clinic, dermal filler is used to improve:
- Lost volume in the cheeks and midface
- Under-eye hollows and shadowing
- Thin or undefined lips
- Chin projection and jawline definition
- Fine lines, wrinkles and sagging jowls
- The nasal profile, without surgery
The aim is a natural, balanced enhancement, not an obvious one.
Structural Support and Balance
Restore underlying support and balance facial proportions across different areas of the face.
Precision Shape and Definition
Targeted placement refines contours and improves definition while respecting your natural anatomy.
Natural, Undetectable Results
Treatments are designed to enhance facial features subtly, so results look refreshed rather than obvious.
Minimal Downtime, Controlled Recovery
Most dermal filler treatments involve minimal downtime, with results settling gradually over time.
I went to Dr Elgey and had 4 mls of dermal filler which he strategically placed in the temples, cheeks and chin and I am honestly blown away by the results. It’s a real game changer! I went in feeling super nervous but Dr Elgey is so knowledgeable, professional and warm - I quickly felt at ease. We spoke at length about my concerns and then he advised me on where the filler should be placed to get the best results. I had absolutely no bruising afterwards and swelling was minimal. The result is so natural but I look so much younger and fresher. I honestly wish I had done it sooner.

I had a great experience with Paul for lip filler and Sunekos injections. He is attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to understand my facial structure, how it moved to ensure a nice balanced and natural look. Also appreciate that he isn’t afraid to say no to more treatments so that things don’t look overdone. Will always be happy to recommend!

Highly recommend Paul. He really put me at ease, showed careful consideration and thought for the fact I was coming to him after having previous filler in my lips dissolved due to migration, and kept me very well informed throughout the process. Clearly highly skilled and I am so happy to have found someone I can trust with my lips for the long term!

Dr Paul is the best! He’s professional yet every time I come visit it’s like visiting an old friend. I knew Paul was someone I could trust as he was the only person to advise me to dissolve my lip filler as it had slightly migrated and over the years has advised against certain treatments as they wouldn’t look natural/ suit my face.

I went to see Dr Paul yesterday for some lip filler, I was very impressed with the setup of his clinic. Dr Paul was as professional and friendly as ever, answered any questions I had and reassured me that I didn’t need filler in all the places I thought I did. I felt comfortable the whole time, had minimal swelling and the shape of my lips are perfect.

Indications and applications
What Can Dermal Filler Treat?
Dermal filler is particularly effective for:
Lost volume in the cheeks and midface
Replaces the structural support that flattens with age, lifting the midface rather than simply adding volume. See cheek filler.
Under-eye hollows and shadowing
Softens the hollow that casts a shadow under the eye, treated conservatively with a cannula. See tear trough filler.
Thin or undefined lips
Adds volume and border definition, no more than 1ml in a session, built gradually. See lip filler.
Chin projection and jawline definition
Balances the lower face in profile and sharpens the transition into the jawline. See chin filler.
Hollow temples and forehead contour
Restores the upper third of the face, which quietly supports everything below it. See temple and forehead filler.
The nasal profile, without surgery
Camouflages a hump, corrects asymmetry and supports the tip. See non-surgical rhinoplasty.

Treatment areas
Which Dermal Filler Treatment Do I Need?
Dermal filler is not one treatment. Each area has its own anatomy, its own product, and its own technique. These are the areas I treat, each with its own page:
If you are not sure which you need, that is what the consultation is for. Often the area you are worried about is not the area that needs treating.
What can be treated?
Dr Elgey plans filler across the whole face, so restoring one area keeps every feature in natural, balanced proportion.
- Facial volume loss
- Sagging jowls and lower face
- Loss of lip volume
- Nasolabial and marionette lines
- Chin and jawline definition
- Profile balance and non-surgical rhinoplasty

Pricing
Dermal Filler Pricing
Pricing depends on:
- The areas treated
- The volume and product used
- Whether the result is built across staged sessions
You are quoted at consultation, once your face has been assessed and the plan agreed, so you know the full cost before anything is booked.

Dr Paul’s approach
Why Choose Dr Paul Elgey?
Filler is easy to buy and hard to do well. The results people dislike almost always come from treating a single area in isolation, or from volume that the face was never asking for.
With over 20 years of medical practice and advanced aesthetic training, my focus is:
- Safety
- Precision
- Natural outcomes
- Long-term skin health
I assess the whole face before recommending any single area, and I am happy to say when the answer is less filler, or none.

Dermal Filler FAQs
If you are curious about the procedure, aftercare, or potential side effects, the answers to common questions are below.
What are dermal fillers made of?
Most dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, a sugar molecule that occurs naturally in the body and binds water. Only CE-marked hyaluronic acid fillers are used at the clinic, and they are reversible with hyaluronidase if a result ever needs adjusting.
How long do dermal fillers last?
Longevity varies by area and product. Lip filler typically lasts 6 to 12 months, cheek and chin filler 12 to 24 months, and temple and forehead filler can last longer still. Your metabolism, the area treated and your lifestyle all influence how long a result holds.
Does dermal filler hurt?
Discomfort is minimal. Topical or local anaesthetic is used depending on the area, and most fillers contain lidocaine. A cannula is used wherever possible, which reduces the number of entry points and the risk of bruising.
Is there downtime?
Most areas settle within one to three days. Lip swelling peaks at around 48 hours and settles over three to five days. Avoid pressure, heat and strenuous exercise for the first 24 hours, and the final result is reviewed at two weeks.
Are dermal fillers reversible?
Hyaluronic acid fillers are. If a result is not right, or if filler migrates, it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase and the area restored. See filler dissolving for how that works.
How do I know which filler treatment I need?
You do not need to decide in advance. At consultation I assess the whole face, explain what is driving the change you have noticed, and recommend the area or areas that will make the most difference. Sometimes that is not the area you came in about.
