Advanced Regenerative Treatments in London
Regenerative treatments involve therapies that encourage the body to repair, rejuvenate, or replace damaged or ageing tissues using its natural healing processes.
These treatments focus on improving skin quality, supporting collagen production, and enhancing tissue health over time rather than creating immediate volume.
At my Marylebone clinic, regenerative treatments are used to improve:
- Skin laxity and loss of firmness
- Dull tone and uneven texture
- Dehydration and loss of glow
- Fine lines and early signs of ageing
- Crepey skin on the neck, décolletage and hands
These are the treatments to choose when the goal is better skin, not a different shape.

I had a great experience with Paul for lip filler and Sunekos injections. He is attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to understand my facial structure, how it moved to ensure a nice balanced and natural look. Also appreciate that he isn’t afraid to say no to more treatments so that things don’t look overdone. Will always be happy to recommend!

I had a consultation and UltraClear treatment with Dr Paul for acne scarring with other skin concerns and my experience has been excellent from start to finish. After speaking with several practitioners, what stood out most was Dr Paul’s honesty and knowledge. I never felt pressured into treatment, and he took the time to explain the reasoning behind his recommendations. Throughout the process, he has been incredibly responsive and supportive, answering all of my questions before and after treatment. He also prepared a personalised pre-treatment skincare cream which made me feel very well looked after. The recovery has also gone smoothly thanks to the clear aftercare instructions and Dr Paul’s ongoing support.

Just had a second polynucleotides treatment under the care of Dr Paul. He took time to explain the treatment, downtime and recovery periods. All of this was done within a friendly engaging environment where he encouraged questions. I'm super happy with the results and the professionalism of how Dr Paul consulted me, especially as I had initially wanted tear trough injections but after review advised on a different course, of polynucleotides. Certainly will be back, and can't recommend enough.

I have been treated by Dr Paul on several occasions over the years and now I can thoroughly write a review! Dr Paul is extremely professional, kind, patient, funny and most importantly he really listens trying to understand what I’m hoping to achieve. His work is amazing and my skin looks and feels way better now than it was 5 years ago. Dr Paul has deep knowledge, using his critical thinking to improve the health of my skin. I absolutely recommend him to anyone visiting him, even just for a consultation.

Going to see Dr. Paul is like a catch up with a friend over a coffee, only you walk out looking better than you ever did! I have been seeing Dr. Paul for a good 4-5 years now and can honestly say he is a master at what he does. He is an artist and prides himself on natural, subtle enhancements and results. If he feels like I don’t need something done, he simply wont do it! Over the years I have received countless compliments on my skin and face, saying I look filtered and radiant.

I went to Dr Elgey and had 4 mls of dermal filler which he strategically placed in the temples, cheeks and chin and I am honestly blown away by the results. It’s a real game changer! I went in feeling super nervous but Dr Elgey is so knowledgeable, professional and warm - I quickly felt at ease. We spoke at length about my concerns and then he advised me on where the filler should be placed to get the best results. I had absolutely no bruising afterwards and swelling was minimal. The result is so natural but I look so much younger and fresher. I honestly wish I had done it sooner.

Indications and applications
What Can Regenerative Treatments Treat?
Regenerative treatments are particularly effective for:
Skin laxity and loss of firmness
Stimulates the skin to rebuild its own collagen, improving firmness gradually over months rather than adding volume.
Dull tone and uneven texture
Improves the quality of the skin surface, so it reflects light more evenly and reads as healthier.
Dehydration and loss of glow
Restores hydration deep in the dermis, which is what gives skin its plumpness and translucency.
Fine lines and early ageing
Softens expression lines by improving the structural quality of the skin around them, not by freezing movement.
Crepey skin on the neck, décolletage and hands
These areas age early and respond well to bioremodelling, where filler would be the wrong tool entirely.
Under-eye crepiness and a tired appearance
Some regenerative treatments suit the delicate periorbital skin where tear trough filler carries more risk.

The options
Which Regenerative Treatment Is Right for Me?
These treatments are not interchangeable. Choosing between them is the actual clinical decision, and it depends on your skin, your age, and what you want to change.
- Profhilo®, for laxity, hydration and glow
- Sunekos®, for skin quality and the delicate under-eye
- Polynucleotides, for repair, redness and cellular regeneration
- JULÄINE™, for deeper collagen regeneration and structure
- Radiesse®, for contour with collagen stimulation over months
- UltraClear Laser, for resurfacing and texture
If you are not sure where to start, that is what the consultation is for.
What can be treated?
Regenerative treatments work gradually, stimulating your own collagen, elastin, and tissue repair to improve the quality and resilience of the skin itself.
- Loss of skin firmness and elasticity
- Under-eye texture
- Loss of structure and support
- Dull or dehydrated skin
- Loss of collagen and skin quality

Pricing
Regenerative Treatment Pricing
Pricing depends on:
- Which treatment your skin actually needs
- The areas treated
- The number of sessions in your course
Regenerative treatments are almost always a course rather than a one-off, so you are quoted for the plan rather than the appointment, at consultation.

Dr Paul’s approach
Why Choose Dr Paul Elgey?
Regenerative treatments are the most over-marketed category in aesthetics. Every clinic offers all of them, and few will tell you which one you do not need.
With over 20 years of medical practice and advanced aesthetic training, my focus is:
- Safety
- Precision
- Natural outcomes
- Long-term skin health
These treatments build slowly and reward a planned course. I would rather set out a realistic timeline than promise you a glow by the weekend.

Regenerative Treatment FAQs
If you are curious about how these treatments work, how long they take, or which one suits you, the answers to common questions are below.
What is the difference between a skin booster and a biostimulator?
Hyaluronic acid bioremodellers such as Profhilo and Sunekos spread through the tissue and stimulate collagen, elastin and the skin’s own hyaluronic acid, improving hydration and quality. Collagen biostimulators such as JULÄINE and Radiesse prompt the body to produce new collagen over the following months for gradual firming and structural support.
How soon will I see results?
Not immediately, and that is the point. Bioremodellers typically show from 4 to 6 weeks. Biostimulators build over 2 to 3 months as new collagen forms. These treatments reward patience and a planned course.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the treatment. Profhilo is usually two sessions a month apart. Sunekos and polynucleotides are typically a course of three to four, two to three weeks apart. Your plan is set out at consultation before anything is booked.
Can regenerative treatments be combined?
Yes, and they often are. Regenerative treatments work well alongside dermal filler and UltraClear laser resurfacing: filler restores structure, regenerative treatments improve the quality of the skin over it. Sequencing matters, so combinations are planned rather than stacked.
Is there any downtime?
Minimal. Expect small raised points at the injection sites that settle within a day or two, and the occasional small bruise. Avoid make-up for a few hours, and strenuous exercise, saunas and steam rooms for 24 hours.
