On the day of the treatment local anaesthetic is used to ensure complete comfort. The filler is then injected using a cannula or fine needle. The procedure usually takes about 30 to 45 minutes, and the results are immediate. Post-treatment care includes avoiding applying excessive pressure to the treated areas for at least 24 hours.
