I had a great experience with Paul for lip filler and Sunekos injections. He is attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to understand my facial structure, how it moved to ensure a nice balanced and natural look. Also appreciate that he isn’t afraid to say no to more treatments so that things don’t look overdone. Will always be happy to recommend!

I went to Dr Elgey and had 4 mls of dermal filler which he strategically placed in the temples, cheeks and chin and I am honestly blown away by the results. It’s a real game changer! I went in feeling super nervous but Dr Elgey is so knowledgeable, professional and warm - I quickly felt at ease. We spoke at length about my concerns and then he advised me on where the filler should be placed to get the best results. I had absolutely no bruising afterwards and swelling was minimal. The result is so natural but I look so much younger and fresher. I honestly wish I had done it sooner.

I had a consultation and UltraClear treatment with Dr Paul for acne scarring with other skin concerns and my experience has been excellent from start to finish. After speaking with several practitioners, what stood out most was Dr Paul’s honesty and knowledge. I never felt pressured into treatment, and he took the time to explain the reasoning behind his recommendations. Throughout the process, he has been incredibly responsive and supportive, answering all of my questions before and after treatment. He also prepared a personalised pre-treatment skincare cream which made me feel very well looked after. The recovery has also gone smoothly thanks to the clear aftercare instructions and Dr Paul’s ongoing support.

Just had a second polynucleotides treatment under the care of Dr Paul. He took time to explain the treatment, downtime and recovery periods. All of this was done within a friendly engaging environment where he encouraged questions. I'm super happy with the results and the professionalism of how Dr Paul consulted me, especially as I had initially wanted tear trough injections but after review advised on a different course, of polynucleotides. Certainly will be back, and can't recommend enough.

Highly recommend Paul. He really put me at ease, showed careful consideration and thought for the fact I was coming to him after having previous filler in my lips dissolved due to migration, and kept me very well informed throughout the process. Clearly highly skilled and I am so happy to have found someone I can trust with my lips for the long term!

The treatment

What is non-surgical rhinoplasty?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty, sometimes called a liquid nose job, uses dermal filler to refine the shape and contour of the nose without surgery. Small, precise amounts of hyaluronic acid smooth a bump on the bridge, improve symmetry and lift the tip, so the nose looks straighter and more balanced in profile and from the front.

It cannot make a nose smaller, but by adding structure in the right places it can make the nose appear more refined and in balance with the rest of the face. It is ideal for anyone seeking subtle adjustments without the downtime and risks of surgery.

Indications and applications

What Can Non-surgical Rhinoplasty Treat?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is particularly effective for:

Smooth a bump on the bridge

Filler placed above and below a dorsal hump camouflages it and straightens the line of the bridge in profile.

Improve symmetry

Small, precise amounts of filler even out an uneven profile so the nose reads as straighter and more balanced.

Lift a drooping tip

Support placed at the tip and columella can gently lift the nasal tip and refine the overall shape.

Refine the profile without surgery

A minimally invasive alternative to surgical rhinoplasty for the right, well-assessed nose, with no general anaesthetic.

See the result immediately

Improvement is visible straight away, downtime is minimal, and because the filler is hyaluronic acid it is fully reversible.

How it works

How Does Non-surgical Rhinoplasty Work?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty works by using dermal fillers composed of hyaluronic acid to reshape the nose.

The filler is carefully injected into specific areas of the nose to achieve the desired contour and symmetry. This minimally invasive procedure can correct a variety of nasal imperfections, such as a dorsal hump, asymmetry, or a drooping nasal tip.

Filler adds; it does not remove. A hump is camouflaged by building either side of it, which is why the technique suits some noses and not others. That assessment happens before anything is agreed.

Technique and safety

How your non-surgical rhinoplasty is performed

The nose contains critical blood vessels, so it is one of the highest-care areas in aesthetic medicine. Treatment is carried out slowly, with low pressure and small volumes, by a medical doctor, using filler that is reversible with hyaluronidase.

  • Carried out by a medical doctor, slowly, with low pressure and small volumes
  • Filler placed to camouflage a hump, straighten the profile and support the tip
  • Hyaluronic acid, which is reversible with hyaluronidase, an important safety point here
  • Results visible immediately, with only occasional mild swelling that settles in a few days

Your appointment

Non-surgical Rhinoplasty Treatment Protocol

The treatment protocol for non-surgical rhinoplasty at my London clinic begins with an initial consultation to discuss your aesthetic goals and evaluate your suitability for the procedure.

The filler is then injected using a fine needle or cannula. The procedure typically takes about 30 to 45 minutes, with immediate visible results. Post-treatment care includes avoiding applying excessive pressure to the area and refraining from wearing glasses or sunglasses for at least 24 hours to prevent pressure on the treated area.

Pricing

Non-surgical Rhinoplasty Pricing

Pricing depends on:

  • The volume needed to achieve the profile you want
  • Whether the tip, the bridge, or both are being treated
  • Whether any previous filler needs assessing first

Not every nose suits a non-surgical approach. If surgery would serve you better, I will say so. You are quoted at consultation, once your profile has been assessed.

Doctor-led rhinoplasty

Why Choose Dr Paul Elgey?

The nose has the least forgiving blood supply on the face. It is the treatment where experience, restraint and knowing when to refuse matter most.

With over 20 years of medical practice and advanced aesthetic training, my focus is:

  • Safety
  • Precision
  • Natural outcomes
  • Long-term skin health

A liquid nose job should make the profile read straighter, not make the nose bigger. Small volumes, placed accurately, in the right patient.

Aftercare

Non-surgical rhinoplasty aftercare: Dr Paul's essential tips for the best results

At Dr Paul Elgey Aesthetic Clinic we care not only about the contour of your nose but about the longevity and health of your skin after treatment. Proper aftercare is essential to the best results and a comfortable recovery. Here are the guidelines to help you care for your nose after treatment.

Keep the area clean and avoid make-up

The injection sites are still healing, so keeping the area clean is essential to prevent infection. Avoid make-up, heavy skincare and harsh cleansers for at least 24 hours.

Stick to a gentle skincare routine and avoid any unnecessary products around the nose for the first couple of days. Let your skin breathe and heal without added irritation.
Dr Paul Elgey

Minimise swelling with cool packs

Swelling and bruising are common, but a cold compress applied intermittently within the first 24 hours can help. Never apply ice directly or press too hard; use a soft cloth to prevent cold burns.

A gentle cold compress works wonders for post-procedure swelling. Just be cautious and never apply ice directly, use a soft cloth as a buffer.
Dr Paul Elgey

Avoid pressure on the nose

Avoid any pressure on the treated area, especially in the first 72 hours. Wearing glasses or touching the nose can shift the filler before it settles. Consider contact lenses instead, and if you must wear glasses, rest them lightly.

I recommend contact lenses for a few days after treatment. Even gentle pressure from glasses can alter the shape of the filler, so if you need glasses, prop them up lightly to avoid pressing on the bridge.
Dr Paul Elgey

Avoid vigorous exercise and heat

For at least 24 hours, avoid strenuous exercise and anything that raises your body temperature, such as hot showers or saunas. Heat can increase swelling and affect the outcome.

Exercise and heat can increase swelling after treatment. Take it easy for a couple of days and avoid anything that raises your body temperature too much.
Dr Paul Elgey

Avoid alcohol and smoking

Alcohol and smoking can increase swelling and slow healing. Avoid both for at least 48 hours after treatment. Smoking in particular can interfere with circulation and increase the risk of complications.

Alcohol and smoking hinder recovery. Avoiding them for a couple of days will reduce swelling and give your body the best chance to heal properly.
Dr Paul Elgey

Elevate your head while sleeping

Sleeping with your head elevated for the first night helps reduce fluid retention and swelling. Use extra pillows to prop your head up, which supports a faster recovery.

I always suggest sleeping with your head elevated for the first night after a nose filler. It is a simple and effective way to control swelling.

Non-surgical Rhinoplasty FAQs

If you are curious about the procedure, aftercare, or potential side effects, the answers to common questions are below. The nose is a high-risk area for filler, so suitability is assessed carefully before anything is booked.

How long does non-surgical rhinoplasty last?

On average, hyaluronic acid non-surgical rhinoplasty lasts between 18 and 24 months. How long your result lasts depends on the type and amount of filler used, the area treated, and individual factors such as your metabolism and lifestyle. We will guide you on how to maintain your result.

Are there any risks?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is generally safe but the nose is a high-care area. Swelling and bruising can occur and usually settle within a few days. Less commonly, lumps can occur and are often temporary or dissolvable. Because Dr Paul treats slowly with small volumes and reversible filler, the risk of a serious complication is kept low.

What filler is used in non-surgical rhinoplasty?

We only ever use hyaluronic acid based filler for non-surgical rhinoplasty, so any rare complication can be managed with hyaluronidase for complete peace of mind. The best filler for you depends on your goals and nasal anatomy, which we discuss and recommend at your consultation.

What techniques are used?

Several techniques may be used depending on your nose: linear threading to smooth bumps and straighten the profile, a microdroplet technique for precise contouring, and a tenting technique to lift the nasal tip. Each is chosen based on your unique anatomy and desired outcome for a natural, balanced result.
